Danielle Fernau

Danielle Fernau is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Unison Asset Management, where she oversees the firm’s operations, financial reporting, and compliance program. She brings nearly two decades of experience in alternative investment management. Prior to joining Unison, Danielle spent over 17 years at Universa Investments, an investment manager specializing in tail risk hedging strategies.  As Head of Operations, she was responsible for overseeing investment and fund operations, financial reporting, and relationships with fund administrators, custodians, and other service providers. During her tenure, she played a key role in building and managing the operational infrastructure supporting the firm’s institutional investment business. Danielle holds a B.A. from Western Michigan University.
